Time-weavers in the garden
Mar. 22nd, 2026 11:05 pmThere is a time-weaver spinning its web underneath the oak in my garden. Creating threads of fate. Sitting on my porch I can see the light catch and split on the web. It sits in the middle, a mass of legs and impossible colours. The oak was old, now it's young and ancient at once. The Time-weaver has created a small bubble of timelessness around its web. Now, every second exists simultaneously. I've told the kids to not disturb it, and the dog is staying indoors for the time being. It's only for a while, Time-weavers never last long in one place. It'll soon move on, though I'm afraid my oak will never be the same.
